This beautiful octopus is an original design carved by hand out of Ash wood from Minnesota. Makes an excellent desk ornament, shelf decoration, or fidget (though consistent handling may require refinishing with clear polyurethane).
This is easily my favorite piece I have made so far, and my favorite design. I aligned the design in a cookie so that the circles in the woodgrain radiate from the top of the octopus's head, and the effect is absolutely mesmerizing. I'm so proud of this piece, and I can't wait to see it find it's forever home!

Pieces are not fragile, but not toys. Rough handling can cause breakage. In which case, I would recommend Titebond III wood glue to reset the broken piece. In addition, excessive handling can lead to rubbing off the clear topcoat layer, in which case a new coat will need to be added. I recommend Minwax clear water-based polyurethane applied with a brush and allowed to dry for 24hrs before handling.
If you are not comfortable with performing these tasks, you may send the piece back to me and I will fix it and send it back to you for a fee of $150.
